In this program, students’ background is very diverse, including the following three research fields: chemistry, biological chemistry, and biophysics. In order to enhance their interdisciplinary knowledge in chemical biology and molecular biophysics this program aims to promote, it is necessary to require students from the very beginning of their Ph.D. study to take this course, entitled ‘Fundamental Chemical Biology and Molecular Biophysics’. By taking this course, students are expected to require the basic training before moving on to take more advanced course either in chemical biology or in molecular biophysics.
